Dilapidated Nollywood actress, Oby Kechere, popularly identified for her role as Madam Koi Koi within the 2002 comedy movie Aki na Ukwa, has died.
Twinny News stories that the news of her loss of life was once made public on Saturday by the Nationwide President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria, Uche Agbo. She reportedly passed away after scuffling with an illness for some time.

Kechere who hailed from Mbaise in Imo Whine, held the feature of Vice Chairman of the Directors Guild of Nigeria Abuja Chapter. People of the guild described her as a dedicated expert who contributed to the expansion of the community and performed an active role within the Abuja chapter.
She studied Theatre Arts on the College of Ibadan sooner than joining Nollywood in 2001. She became identified within the industry thru early appearances in films such because the August Meeting series and later won wider recognition for her comic role in Aki na Ukwa.
