Nigerian Grammy-nominated singer, David Adeleke, better identified as Davido, has expressed displeasure after being called out over an alleged $50,000 debt for marriage ceremony planning.

Twinny News reports that a social media put up credited to the CEO of the corporate that became accountable of Davido and Chioma’s marriage ceremony, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, accused the singer of owing unpaid debt.

The document that went viral on social media became accompanied by an alleged chat of the occasion planner threatening comely motion.

However, Funke Bucknor, in a put up thru her Instagram tale, debunked the allegation and the viral screenshot of her calling out Davido for unpaid debt.

Bucknor described the viral put up as flawed and deceptive, stressing that it failed to emanate from her company.

Davido, while reacting to the allegation in a put up on his 𝕏  handle, described it as loopy.

The singer wrote “Here is correct loopy atp (at this level).”

Within the period in-between, controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better identified as Portable, has alleged that Afrobeats stars, Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, and Burna Boy lie concerning the costs of their jewellery and place young artists below rigidity.

Twinny News reports that Portable, in a video shared on his social media page, accused his senior colleagues of obstructing the development of other musicians.

The Zazu crooner acknowledged Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Olamide had dominated the Nigerian song industry for over a decade and had been obstructing the upward thrust of other superstars.

Portable urged his colleagues to pause inserting up-and-coming musicians below rigidity by repeatedly exhibiting their wealth, adding that he’s going to proceed calling them out within the occasion that they refuse to alter.
