Former Nigerian folk singer Gorgeous Nubia has publicly accused gospel musicians Yinka Ayefele and snappily-rising act BBO of unlawfully the usage of the melody of his traditional music “Seven Lifes” without permission or credit.
The accusation, made through his X fable on Thursday, names Ayefele’s 2012 notice “My Faith in God (Igbagbo Ireti)” and BBO’s 2026 single “Amin” as having lifted core arrangement of the melody from Gorgeous Nubia’s fashioned work.
