Residents Should Be Blamed For Flood Crisis In Lagos

Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has reacted to the constant flooding in Lagos, blaming it on the manner residents gain rid of refuse.

Naija Facts reports that the actor, in a video posted on Instagram said most of the concerns are precipitated by participants throwing damage into gutters and blocking drainage channels.

He recalled seeing an identical acts in Maryland, the build aside residents have been dumping trash into gutters.

Balogun said that the actions of residents manufacture flooding worse and insisted that participants are partly liable for the injure they bitch about.

He said: “We’re the executive, and we are the ones doing this to ourselves.

“Because they dumped refuse into the gutter, take a study Ikorodu aspect road, participants have blocked the gutter. We even saw some participants at Maryland but we couldn’t yarn it. Throwing dustbins into the gutter blocks the drainage.”
