Nigerian comic Freedom Atsepoyi, popularly is famous as Mr Jollof, has apologised publicly after a physical altercation with social media critic Very Darkish Man (VDM) aboard a United Nigeria Airways flight went viral online.

The clash, which reportedly occurred all by a flight from Asaba to Lagos, sparked current reactions after a video surfaced showing each men engaged in a heated exchange that escalated into a physical fight all by the aircraft.

Reacting to the incident, Mr Jollof shared a video on his Instagram web page on Monday, offering apologies to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), United Nigeria Airways, and fellow passengers who admire been inconvenienced.

He insisted he is rarely any longer a violent person, stressing that he acted handiest in self-defence.

“I prefer to exercise this medium to sincerely apologise to the NCAA, United Nigeria Airways, and the passengers that boarded the airline,” he said. “I became once handiest defending myself.
