Ghana has licensed the issuance of a Ghanaian passport for American YouTube and livestreaming big title IShowSpeed, following the conclusion of his broadly adopted “Breeze Does Africa” tour.

The Ministry of International Affairs announced the choice on January 27, 2026, confirming that the passport approval came after discussions with Ghanaian issue material creator WodeMaya and verification of IShowSpeed’s solid connections to the West African nation.

International Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa shared the advance on social media, pointing out: “Following our discussions and subsequent confirmation of the irrefutable ties of IShowSpeed to Ghana, I am cushty to lisp you and our compatriots that the Ministry of International Affairs has licensed the issuance of a Ghanaian Passport to IShowSpeed.”

The minister additionally praised the streamer and WodeMaya as “noteworthy ambassadors” of Ghana and Africa, and inspired them to proceed showcasing the continent positively on the international stage.

The approval follows IShowSpeed’s 28-day Africa tour, which spanned 20 countries and included high-profile stops in Ghana, Nigeria and diversified countries, drawing thousands and thousands of views all over his livestreams and social platforms.
