Nigerian singer Davido has criticized Jubril A. Gawat, Senior Particular Assistant on Fresh Media to Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, following a social media post promoting Wizkid’s upcoming dwell performance.
Naija Records reports that Gawat shared a poster for Wizkid’s December 28 pronounce at TBS, describing the singer in a technique that drew reward from followers.

One fan commented on Wizkid’s influence in Lagos.
“Wizkid is the face of Lagos. Baba Bolu constantly promote Lagos.” Gawat replied: “Optimistic dazzling. We’re happy with him.”
When one more fan mentioned Davido, Gawat replied that his valuable used to be happy with Wizkid.

Davido reacted sharply, telling Gawat to transfer on from previous disorders.
He also referenced a old tweet by Gawat, urging him to let the matter run.
“Bro it’s been a 365 days let it run … why e collected dey discontinuance u .. grow up. Since the day past… let it run nah … cheer up.”
This online alternate will not be the first between the two.
In September 2024, Davido and Gawat clashed over political issues following the Edo Utter governorship election.
The feud started when Davido criticized the Self reliant Nationwide Electoral Payment, calling it harmful.
Gawat, an APC member, replied cryptically, while Davido persisted to topic him, referencing their previous encounters with Governor Sanwo-Olu.
