The Lagos Command chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rubbished claims by Aminu Tambuwal that there is a “nationwide consensus” to terminate President Bola Tinubu from returning to energy in 2027.
Tambuwal, a long-established Sokoto Command governor and lawmaker representing Sokoto South, had on a tv programme remaining Friday described the frenzy against Tinubu’s re-election as a collective nationwide agenda rather than a northern conspiracy.
Reacting in a press free up on Sunday, the Lagos APC spokesman, Seye Oladejo, acknowledged what exists is rather a consensus to toughen factual governance, stressing that Nigerians will no longer hesitate to reaffirm their belief in Tinubu on the polls.

He acknowledged, “What’s rising is a nationwide consensus to toughen factual governance, and when the time is available in 2027, Nigerians will no longer hesitate to reaffirm their belief in a leader who delivers.”
Oladejo described Tambuwal’s assertion as “one other failed are trying to rewrite the horrid fact,” insisting that Nigerians overwhelmingly rejected the opposition in 2023 and proceed to toughen Tinubu’s administration.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu used to be no longer imposed, he used to be elected by Nigerians from every space, faith, and background. And in contrast to the noise-makers in the opposition, he has hit the ground running,” Oladejo acknowledged.

“Whereas the opposition performs musical chairs and media politics, we are building roads, rising jobs, fixing energy, reforming the economic system, and laying the muse for a stronger, extra prosperous Nigeria,” he added.
